Rock and Ice are AALA registered providers of outdoor activities
for under 18's. Our prices tend to be very competative, ( often from just
£40.00 per head, inclusive of specialist equipment hire).
We understand how important education is, and we will facilitate
educational opportunities throughout every session as appropriate.

We are easy to get to as we are based next to the medieval market town of Ashbourne in South Derbyshire, 30 minutes away from Derby Midlands, train station and 35 minutes from Nottingham East Midlands Airport (EMA).
Our location ensures we also have some of the best outcrop climbing in the UK right on our doorstep. Although we are based in Ashbourne we are happy to provide instruction elsewhere eg; North Wales or the Lake District as we have a network of quality instructors in most areas.
We
are full members of the association of mountaineering
instructors (AMI)
which is the organisation for qualified professional climbing and mountaineering
instructors.Rock and Ice are also registered with the Adventure
Activities Licencing Authority (AALA) which
regulate activities with minors.
Our 5 million public liability insurance covers both you and your organisation
whilst on all our courses.
